<description>A political cartoon I saw a while back kind of captures the essence of the idea:

The Iraqi withdrawal strategy: through Iran!

This time, though, if Gee Dubya decides to invade Iran, there will be some sort of multinational support. Some. Most of Europe is banging their heads against the wall about Iran, and if America goes in first, there will be both protests and praise. The American public is more apt to be sympathetic towards a raid against Iran, though it had the same attitude about Iraq as well. While Iraq was a Bush family pet project, Iran will be viewed as a choke on the world (oil) economy - the correct political spin will produce a whirlwind of support.

At any rate, it looks to be another Korea/Vietnam doubleheader..

<description>I hope it happens. From the perspective of the Iranian people, it will obviously be horrible. But it will bring us, as a nation, to the point where I think Bush will be forcibly removed from office or left to finish his term in disgrace.

He&#039;s really giving Warren Harding a run for his money at the bottom of the presidents&#039; ranking.
