Last Friday evening a Mr. Ward Gollings, who is apparently a very important individual in the Champaign bar scene (his parents must be proud), took time out of his busy schedule to send us this email at 4:40 AM. In response, ginandtacos.com made certain changes to its Champaign bar reviews.

i don't even know where to start about the inconsistencies, absurdities, and flat-out frickin' lies that your site has. to each his own for damn sure but please don't talk such total trash without knowing the frickin' facts first! OR perhaps at least asking? i'd be happy to expound upon a number of misconceptions you have about bars (and their specific agendas) in downtown champaign.

We thank Mr. Gollings for postponing his address to the G8 summit in Italy to send us his concerns in the middle of the evening. We are "for damn sure entitled to our own" but we will refrain from "talk(ing) such total trash" until we have done our due diligence with respect to the frickin' facts.
