In case you haven't heard yet, google has outdone themselves. Google Maps is into the beta phase and sits on top of the google lab and it is already blowing away every other mapping online app. The interface involved with this is beyond imagination - from the draggable maps to the hidden IFrames creating history events for back/forward clicks to the shadows the search icons create they have really created an outstanding product. For the geeks out there, this guy breaks down what is happening on the browser level to create the app.
