REGIONALISM

In support of Mike's GOP-as-regional-party thesis, the Republican Governors Association chose its new leadership on Friday. Its five leadership positions are filled by: Sanford (SC), Perry (TX), Crist (FL), Perdue (GA), and Barbour (MS). Hmm, anything they share in common aside from being old white guys?

Also, does there not seem to be a highly-visible GOP Governor conspicuous by her absence?
